Just a quick question on my mates behalf. he owns a 94 impreza (import) and i own a 99 impreza (uk model). After driving my car then going in his we both noticed a big difference in rpm, at 60 mph in mine my scoobs revving at 2400 rpm yet my mates import is revving at over 3000 rpm. When he bought the scoob he was told that it didnt have a different low ratio box so what would be the explanation for this ?

now then its my scoob thats reving high its realy quick quicker than bullit bengys that might explain why i can only do 180 miles on £30 & thats taking it steady

your 5th ratio is like a uk 4th ratio so it like driving round in 4th gear
