i think, 100mm doesn't have an 'English' size equilent but 114.3 is 4.5"s Maybe 4.5" PCD is common in the USA. Thus given them a larger choice of 'Bling' wheels
But it's probably more to do with that Supra's Skyline etc already use 114.3 but seemed a good conspirocy story
