*** Bonnet alignment & Washer Jet rubber ADVICE needed
Hi
just fitted my carbon fibre bonnet. couple of minor probs. Firstly the passenger side of the bonnet does not seem to be aligned, has a slight gap. Am i to mess around with the hinge & the bolts until i get it right? theres not much to fiddle about with though (no jokes plz!).
Im worried about water leaking into the engine cos that side is where the battery is placed or am i being too cautious?
Also the washer jet rubbers do not fit into the given holes. They slot in and out quite easily with the previous bonnet. I can try use some heavy force but dont wana dent the bonnet. Will a bodyshop be able to file these/make em larger? duznt sound too difficult does it?
Advice or opinions would be greatly appreicated. Thanx

yep adjust the hinges slightly, mine didn't fit properly (still doesn't ) but you get a couple of mm movement with them.
As for the washer jets yeah get a file to them, you can get a body shop to do it but they'll be charging you for something you can do yourself :0
Just take a tiny bit at a time off and you shouldn't have any problems
