Default S U B A R U Lettering

I will be needing to fit the original SUBARU lettering to the rear of the car soon - however when the original letters was removed the S was damaged so I need to purchase a replacement. Is this the sort of thing you buy from a main dealer or can I source this from somewhere else ? Any ideas as to whether the lettering is on a backing sheet already correctly lined up and spaced or is it something you have to do yourself ?

Cheers

I seem to remember my dealer asking for in the region of £60 for this. I left it "de badged"!

Hi Nelson,

I can't help you source them but I got badly shunted once and needed a replacement boot (which had to come from Japan). The SUBARU letters came seperately and they are not pre-aligned. I didn't trust myself to get them on straight so I got my dealer to do it.

Nelson,I have a set removed from my old car which you can have if you want.

But,you'll have to re-attach them yourself.I used the double sided sticky pads that are used to stick number plates on(1mm thick),just cut them up into thin strips and put them on the back of the letters.

Then put a strip of masking tape in a horizontal line across your boot underneath where you want the SUBARU to sit and make a ref as to where the cl is

I was 3 parts pished when I re-attached mineso the first attempt ended up as SUBURA
