Angry Went to look at a 350z

went and test drove a 350z to day loved the car, only offered me £5,200 on mine as a px, my car is a 99 uk turbo 72,000 full service history and in very good condition. Is this px offer against a £27.5k car taking the pi55 or what

Sell privately unless you're in a major hurry. I had an '00 UK turbo, similar mileage and with PPP and 17" wheels - I was offered £6500 against a new Evo VIII and £7500 against an '04 STI. I eventually got £8900 in a private sale.

How would you describe the 350Z? I saw one at a motor show last year and quite liked the look of it too, but wanted a bigger boot.

What can you expect for a six year old car with high mileage that was only 20k to begin with? They have to make a profit on it, and they aren't exactly rare. A few hundred might have sweetened it a bit but you take a loss PX for the convenience of not having to look for a buyer.

Wifes got one. 350 is a peach, nice howl from the pipes when you gas it! goes really well, bags of grunt and good top end. Proper GT car. If you get one go for the GT pack. Need to know more look at www.350zuk.com dont be put off by some negative issues on the board though, there's no pleasing all the people all the time.

Think yourself lucky.... I've ordered my 05 WRX and put in PX my 2.5 V6 Ghia X Mondeo, 5 years old 90k miles but FSH and in excellent condition... every concievable toy, full leather etc. etc. £22.5k new.........

1800 quid!!!!!

Unbelievable.... was the best I could get, most were offering 1600!!! I couldn't be arsed selling privately especially with a Ford but even if I had wouldn't have got much more for it

I test drove one about 6 months ago , handling felt nice if a bit heavy (driving an ITR at the time so not surprising) , performance was good but not as fast as i thought it would be, but i was horrified at the low grade plastics used in the rear and on the doors reminded me of my dads old nissan bluebird from years ago. Dash looks nice overall but i think they could have upped the quality a tad considering the car costs 27 grand. Not having a pop at the 350z as i will probably buy one when a second hand market appears. Just wondered about the jap gentlemans agreement on power (270bhp) does this mean the 350z is restricted and therefore highly tuneable or is the bhp figure just a coincidence.

The jap gentlemans agreement is suspended.

Here in Belgium the standard version has 280bhp, but you can also have a 300bhp version.
There is a tuning company who tuned one with a supercharger and they got 419 bhp.

If your spending most of the time out of the UK this year, you taking a scooby with you then? Kuro good colour and the car looks nice.

Having both must say IMO the 350 is nicer overall, but that depends what you want.

Hope you sell it OK mate, but if you still got it later on in the year may consider a swap!
