I/C water spray

Question I/C water spray

I noticed at the weekend that 04/05 import STIs have auto water spray.MY 04 UK STI has manaul water spray switch.My question is my cars ECU and wiring harness aiready in place to activate this system by basically adding the switch. Thanks JASON

Aren't they all auto-spray, but the switch is there so you can give it a blast (play with) whenever you want?

I think the point is that UK cars only have the manual switch, while imports (pic ) also have the auto option. There was a thread in the Technical section on this recently - the consensus being that because it's controlled by the ECU, it's not possible to add the auto switch to a UK car - the facility doesn't exist in the Euro-spec ECU.

You could always add an aftermarket system and control it with a Subaru switch, though
