Never had this problem before...having a "quality" alarm fitted (TOAD Ai600)

That was until Today...

Parked in usual spot. Previously other peoples cars have had all sorts of amusing problems - not just Scoobies, I used to find it amsuing that my car was never affected.

Looks like my luck ran out...damn thing wouldn't unlock and disarm. No worries I thought, just the battery on the blink...Got a brand new remote battery in my desk, so popped that in...still wouldn't work!

Great...guess who de-locked their car, so have no way of getting in! (without a coat hanger )

Spent 20mins farting about with the remote....found that holding the remote against my chin with my mouth open, standing nearest to where the alarm reciever unit is located seemed to do the trick. Once inside, remote worked perfect. but take a step out the car...even with the door open it just didn't want to know.

Funnily a collegue was laughing his head off at my theatrics...only to find he couldn't get into his VW Touran!
