Long time ago I went to france in a ford sierra, we stopped at halfords on the way and put something onto the headlights to send the beam the opposite way.
I doubt they make these for bug eye style headlights, so what's the procedure?
My car is an 02 Sti from Lichfied Imports, imported in from Malta.
Cheers

Do the lights have any markings on them at all - normally car headlights have lines indicating wherre you would need to tape them up to stop you blinding oncoming traffic. If so, just use some black pvc sticky tape and make your own.

I think it is a dealer job. An older cars the light is refracted using the headlamp glass and you apply marker type (bought for the job or std insulation tape) on the section that throughs the light to the left. Most modern cars the light is directed inside the headlamp unit by the refractor. You can try taping out chunks of the headlight but will probably find you have virtually no light going foward to get the job done.
In the end last time i went didn';t bother and made sure I wasn't out after dusk.

I don't bother with trying to blank out, I just turn them down to their lowest level setting on the height adjuster. No compliants received and you get as much light as youh would were you to do the blanking. Plus you can do it from the confort of your seat
