Excuse my ignorance (new to scoobs) but would there be any problems with buying this:-

I'm looking for a track day car and this seems perfect especially for trips to the ring as it probably won't break down.

Only thing that would worry me is the guy has no feedback and his seller id is not very confidence inspiring
Take care out there...![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
btw - worth a google on his phone number - some interesting info there

couple of things I have noted, others will point out other bits if I missed any.
first, minor thing is it has a cat 2 alarm, pretty sure almost all insurance companies will require you fitting a cat 1 alarm for insurance purposes.
the other thing I notices is this seller has not got any feedback, so this is their first sale.
big step from 0 to a spec c bid.
Could be genuine enough and a real bargain.

No harm in zero feedback for an item like this IMHO - buying and selling little stuff doesn't mean someone's car is any better or more legitimate. Besides, only a fool would bid on an expensive car without actually seeing it for real and examining both the car and its documentation thoroughly first.

Thanks for all your replies. What would be the cost of a cat1 alarm and would anything need to be done to it to make it useable in the uk - like the mileage is displayed in km could this be changed to miles?

So if one was going to buy this car what would be a good course of action?
For instance getting an inspection from a motoring organisation was my first thought. Then what, would i need to be shown any documents etc to make sure the duties have been paid and the sva has been carried out etc? Then taking it to litchfields for an ecu, some kind of service and miltek perhaps.
