if the pic is still on your webspace then change it to be a large picture of a ***** or something similar.

otherwise complain to ebay if you are unhappy.

I had something similar recently, someone stole photos of my car and used them in an auction. You can use this link to report the offending item and ebay usually pull the auction.

Are your lights even by the same company as he's advertising: Elegante by TYC? If not, just ask seller a question: "How much are you going to pay me for using the copyrighted picture of my car and why are you misrepresenting the product you're selling?"

Angry

Sorry Andy, but you're seriously misguided.

Some muppet used my pic of SDB's record breaking car on ebay. They'd simply lifted from SN, and then completely ignored emails from myself and SDB.

Did ebay give a tinker's cuss? Did they heck as like. They did absolutely nothing, and their site demands you complete about 27 forms, or double that if you're a business, which it completely ignores anyway.

They are a bunch of useless barstewards. Ebay's simply too big for them to manage it, or even give ****e

Put an "ask seller a question" link and ask if they have the owners ok to use the car?

Sorry you had a bad experience Josh - when I complained to Ebay a few weeks ago (see this thread), it was a simple on-line process which took me about 5 minutes, and they'd pulled the auction within 24 hours.

Maybe I was just lucky, or you were just unlucky? Either way I think it's worth a go.

I had a bad experience with a seller on ebay the middle of last year, complained to ebay. Still waiting for a response even though the auto one said I'd get one within 24 hours!

I agree, ebay are worse than useless if you actually want to contact them.

Have yoiu thought about setting up a couple of 'temporary' accounts and bidding them off against one another.

No doubt the seller would be overjoyed at selling 'em for a grand or two

I spoke to Simon the other night. It was a mistake printing Frank's name on their part. Apparently they are going to print Si an apology
