How easy is it to change the standard front lights for Morrette units??
Whats involved??
Need to know as I've got the chance at buying a set, on an exchange basis, so need to know how long it will take to change them over.
Also, how much would a pair of good condition standard front headlights from a MY98 be worth??
Cheers,
Grant

They look well smart, wouldn't mind a set for my own! I take it you got yoursel back in a Scoob then Grant, what's the spec? I reckon you could get £100 for the headlamps if they are crystal ones?

Takes about an hour including wiring. Best done in a garage in this weather![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Remove sidelights by first removing screw at inner edge on top of headlight and pulling sidelight sharply forwards to seperate it from the ball and socket joint that holds it in place.
Remove front grille by pressing down with a small screwdriver etc on the two catches, one either side, on top, and pulling the grille forwards, then up.
Disconnect wiring at rear of headlight by squeezing two sides of connector and pulling off.
Undo the two nuts at the sides and two (IIRC???) at the inner edges, and remove headlight. You may have to wiggle it a bit to clear obstructions![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Put new wiring in place before fitting new lights.
Refitting is the reverse of removal. You may have to remove catches on grille and ease them back up before refitting to make them catch properly.
Best of luck with setting 'em up for alignment, unless you have triple jointed hands smaller than Jeremy Beadle's![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
