P1 Alloys
#1
Hi all,
I remember reading in the Autocar review that the alloys on the P1 were bespoke, and only availible on this particular model.
However I have been told that it IS actually possible to buy this style of wheel (same grey colouring and everything)
Anyone out there know if this is true? And if so, what are the wheels called?
Cheers,
Chris

In the UK, they are only available for P1 owners, but I understand that Subaru dealers and Prodrive outlets in other countries will have this style of wheel available.
They are a very nice looking wheel, but unfortunately will cost in the region of £250 each, if you could get some!

Buying them in bulk would attract some discount, but the main thing is that you wouldn't have to pay the VAT on them @17.5%.
Not paying VAT would bring the price down to almost the $325 each level, but without any group discounts. Then again you'll have shipping to the US to consider as well.

In Holland you can buy the P1-wheels (alloys) at the Subaru-dealer; I payed around 180 pounds each (without tire).
The ET is 52
The weight is around 9.5 kg
With Bridgestone 215/40/17 S02-PP the total wheel-weigt is plm 18 kg (this is not much more than the standard 16" wheel with the Br. RE010 = plm 16.5 kg).
I liked it very much!
