I know you will enjoy yourself, I done a Static line jump for Devon Air ambulance and raised £503 it was absolutly superb. I really want to do it again. I use to have a fear of heights but that is well gone. The Tandem i do not tink will be the same as it is the Traind Sky Diver who will do everything. The static line you have full controll and jump alone. I only done 4000ft beautiful day, had to get into the door myself theinstructer went 3,2,1 Go and i went. all the training we done that day had gone right over my head and instead of going Arch 1 Thousand, 2 Thousand... 5 Thousand check Cannopy. when i jumped it was Aaaaaahhhhh untill i felt the chute open and pull me up i then thought Oh S*it check cannopy all was well i got the toggles and shouted wooohhooooo the feeling was superb. The landing could have been better, i had to land in a freshly cut corn field and slippd on my a**. Their were people their doing tandem jumps from around 10000ft due to the extra weight but i prefered the static jump.
All the best for it mate.
