In the last couple of months 2 of my water Pipes have burst...was in a hurry yesterday so poped to a Subaru dealer and paid £20 for a hose!
Is it recomended that i change the coolant hose's to Samco?
If yes, where is the cheepest place i can buy from?
Cheers

1st the hose that goes from the header tank to the Turbo split...
2nd was the S Bend hose that is at the top of the Rad conneting near the manifold. (if you were facing the car, the hose is on the left side of the Rad)
The hose had a small rip in it, and i almost did not notice it once i took the hose off till when i started the car it started dripping out..
Standard headers

They can also split if some rough c!!nt has taken them off with a screwdriver to break the seal, thus gauging the inside of the pipe, and provide the start of a split!

Okay so i replaced the pipe the other day...and noticed that the water level was still dropping in the tank... Seemed to be from where the pipe connects by the manifold...(where the original pipe was split from)
So took the pipe off, and scraped away the (opps i forget whats its called![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The lime scale i think...as there was plenty there and and think it may have caused the pipe not to sit properly...
Anyway...car was cold..topped it up with water.
Quick question:
If it was topped up last night, after a drive for the evening i parked up and checked the tank in the morning and it was half empty..Can i assume waster bubbles are clearing out or something?
