Ok I have an sti 3 ra and want to upgrade the front slightly,

The choice is upgrade to the sti5/6 front bumper and sti 5/6 grille and no splitter

Or

Leave the current bumper and get the sti 3 piece splitter and change the grille also.

Pictures or opinions greatly appreciated...

been collecting bits over the past few months to upgrade the front.

managed to pick up at reasonable prices...

Crystal Headlights (99/00 car)
Crystal Fog Lights (99/00 car)
Front Bumper (99/00 car)
Grille (99/00 car)
P1 front splitter
Crystal Bumper Indicators
Crystal Front Indicators

All for cheap, cheap.

I have also picked up a facelift sport bonnet as I have a front mounted intercooler so don't need the top scoop.

I hope it will look nice when finished.

Stick a private plate on it and no one will know they year of the car (unless they see the interior)

Wow you were busy but a good way of doing it. My car currently has the new style bonnet (MY00 shape) and has also got the crystal headlights so its just a choice of which crystal indicator pack to get as in pre 99 or post 99 and whether to get the 3 piece splitter or the MY00 bumper....

 

I changed the front bumper on my MY95 to the newer model and added crystal indicators and STi6 lip spoiler:

 

Yeah it definitely does give a fresh look all right...nice one...
