Sorry, I am new here.
I have tried to search to no avail. I am trying to find out 0 - 60 times, but real ones not ones people have done with a stop watch.
Everywhere I look on the web people boast 0 - 62mph of 4 seconds out of so many variants and adaptions of cars.
If you can give me a link to previous conversations I am happy to look and not ask this again.

Don't feel bad about asking questions. The people on here who jump at the chance to shout 'not again' would never dare utter such statements in front of someone and are feeling butch in the safety of their mum's house.
Up - for a better response.

tbh are you sure thats the right question ?
In the real world there's hardly gonna be anything in it 0-60 and 0-100, Wrx PPP is slightly faster to 60 as it's only got one gear change..
Probably better to think about overall driveability / usability / and what you want from the car as they are different beasts with different character. As said there are numerous threads comparing the merits of each...

Actually i just realised you are the guy who just bought an Sti from SGT's ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Presume then you already looked into the pros and cons of each![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
There's only one way to settle this then - My WRX PPP vs your Sti - M4, name the date and time

I found the Prodrive site very informative. It gives all the various in gear times for set speeds(as well as 0-60 and 0-100 times). It's there to show the difference between standard and PPP variants but it's pretty easy to compare WRX PPP with STI standard.
Hope this helps.

Regardless of which was quicker I would have brought the STi, just prefer it, 6 speed, no fogs etc, each to their own.
I was just interested.
Thanks for all the links guys! Just what I was looking for.

The wrx ppp will be at the top of its tuning tree whereas the sti is at the bottom. The difference in speed and figures is due to the gearing. The sti has a six speed box the wrx has 5. I would imagine if you had all the important in gear times the pair would be similar given that the power is the same.....However get ppp on the sti and its a different story.
