I nicked 4 trim clips off a Impreza GL courtesy car as the dealers refused to replace without charge the missing ones on my car they broke/misslaid. (car was under warrentee too)

Nope, I wouldn't do it.

Not even odd bits of trim and clips or bolts from a scrappies. Been a victim of crime and vandalism and it sucks. (not the impreza thankfully).

Had it done - even down to the thief proof valve caps I fitted on a Friday and 2 gone by Monday. Probably kids I now but still annoying.

Strange thread. You always think that enthusiasts would be honest, but this reminds me of a Mini event we went to back in '95 at Silverstone.

We camped overnight, ready for the Mini racing the next day and we had a fire going during the night, with BBQ, beers etc. We met these 2 blokes whoe had a lovely MK1 Capri.

We gave them a beer, food etc and got chatting. They also had a Mini at home, and later mentioned that they were going to rob some bits from the other Mini's whilst everyone was asleep :O Needless to say, they didnt get any more beer/food/chat and were told to bugger off.

Cant stand pikey thieves.

Ask a thief. I have a mate who is inside just now for pretty petty theft. This guy does not need to nick as when he works(and he works hard) he earns excellent money. He says he just does it cause he can.
And yes he's been told he gets his head kicked in if he nicks from me. But he is quite upset when you think he would nick from mates???
