Question duty/vat

what would be the best guesstimate for duty and vat on a £200 package from Nort Carolina, USA please?

5-10% duty then add 17.5%vat to the lot.

Depends what it is surely, as some items are exempt from duty.

also, duty is paid on the price INC delivery, and the VAT is charged on the sum INC duty. Yes, duty is VATable, crazy.

Duty can vary from the states as Josh said, depends on materials it can range from 0% to 10% may be alittle more.

If your £200 package includes delivery your total price could end about £290 -/+ £20 depending on duty.
