hello

can someone tell me what is the problem when the sound for the rev indicator is gone
the the light is on but the sound is gone
my03 sti

He means the rev limiter beeper

Basically with the car stationery and running, turn the rev limiter until you see the revs at which the thing will operate, another turn shows the beep settings at which point you can switch the "road runner" beep on again.

just turn it back on. when you set where you want the shift light to come on it then says on or off . this on/off only means the beeper not the light.

does the beeper refer to UK models as my JDM sti has the light but not the sound - unless I'm stupid

eh?? what are you lot on about?, what rev limiter beeper?, is this a new age thing then, haven't got this on my classic AFAIK

Its not on classics, only the new STI's.

Ah, but when you have 4 x 90W RMS speakers with a 800W Sub booming away and you can't feel/hear the engine...

useful tool but not essential, can be turned off.

does the classic have a transparent rev counter to see the road flashing by at high revs then
