He means the rev limiter beeper
Basically with the car stationery and running, turn the rev limiter until you see the revs at which the thing will operate, another turn shows the beep settings at which point you can switch the "road runner" beep on again.

just turn it back on. when you set where you want the shift light to come on it then says on or off . this on/off only means the beeper not the light.

what are you lot on about?, what rev limiter beeper?, is this a new age thing then, haven't got this on my classic AFAIK

Its not on classics, only the new STI's.
