Question Sound Proofing

Has anyone had there STi sound proofed? If so, did it cut the raod noise down by much? I have a new MY05 STi and find the raod noise a little too much as times.

I don't find it too bad.

I do have the STI floor mats and STI boot mat tho - perhaps that helps.

Oh and I have the PPP so all I hear is the Prodrive back box........nice

The 05 STi comes with the RE-070 tyres which are very noisy. Choose almost any other tyre, and you'll find a big reduction in road noise.

Fitted Noisekiller kit myself to Sti MY02 PPP and it made quite a difference to the overall noise in the car. I can hear my phone car kit now!

Change the tyres, I put noisekiller in the boot of my wagon. Not a huge difference and about 30 kilos.
