Nope as many people go for the ppp as it comes with the SUBARU warranty- what could possibly go wrong....?

General concensus appears to be: PPP is very good, but expensive, and there are better -and more cost effective- tuning options available.

HOWEVER,

None of the others options will allow you to retain your warranty, so the crucial issue is: to what extent does the warranty affect your decision?

The other advantages to the PPP is that it's more insurance friendly and you'll probably get nearly half the money back on it when you come to sell it on. OEM mods can and often are worthless come resale time, and some can even knock money off..

Yep. Good point Neil! Although if you can flog your car to someone knowledgable, they'll appreciate a ECUTEK3 remap as much, if not more than a PP as the former is customised for your car, rather than a standard package if I understand it correctly.

For the average Punter though, PPP will be regarded as a safer bet.

Regards,

If warranty is NOT an issue and you don't mind potentially poorer re-sale values than if you had the "official" PPP fitted then, yes, you might want to take a serious look at other tuning packages.

I think PPP is a remapped ECU done with the Ecutek software by Prodrive.
Plus the exhaust bits and fuel pump etc.
Basically in a nutshell you pay more and you keep your warranty and will get better residuals.
