Where do you keep yours?
After reading each week about Subaru owners having there cars nicked or being damaged when left, I was wondering where the majority of owners leave their cars at night? On the road, on the driveway or in the garage?
As I type this message my wife has just read in our local paper that another Subaru has been used in a raid and she is concerned since I am about to order my new car.

I don't have a scooby but I do have an Evo and I keep it in my garden behind 2 gun turrets as below
Now these babies tend to heat up so I tend to use them in short sharp bursts

It's usually parked behind my house out of view. There's only one way of getting behind the house and that's through some 8-foot iron gates which we and the neighbours always keep locked. I have left it parked on the road in gear with the disclock on because it was more convenient but Scoobess found a load of chavs taking pictures of it with their mobile phones so it's always parked back behind the house now!
If you're getting a new scooby buy a disclock for it and if you park it in the road park it in gear. Somebody near me has a nice Evo VIII MR and I always see it parked on their drive blocked in by two transit vans, so I guess that wouldn't be going anywhere it shouldn't in a hurry!

My wife and i have a Scooby each. We live in a Terrace with a private road at the back of the house so one is parked right outside the back door of the house with Disclok,Toad Cat 1 and Tracker. The other is in the garage 100 yards away with Disclok,Toad Cat 1.
Keys are kept hidden in the house and taken with us when we are out without the cars.
We have a big dog too.
Hopefully we will manage to hang on to them.

the way i look at it is no matter wot you do they will still take it.
having a gun a tank owt like that still wont stop them.
by time you get out of bed load your gun or grab your bat hammer they are gone.
0-60mph on a scooby you dont stand much of a chance. even the police dont chance them.

Parked in a private driveway, normaly, no more protection than the diesel Volvo, but why should it be treated any differently? It's only a car afterall, and half the price of the Volvo.
