Just sayin Hi from Cali
Hey all,
Got a visit from one of your members on our stateside site,
[plug]WRXFanatics [/plug].
He suggested visiting your site, and I thought it'd be interesting to check out the subie love in the UK. Cultural exchange, scooby meets subie and all.
Looks like y'all have a really nice thing going here.

The 2.5 STI sedan attracts too mush unwanted attention IMHO

I hear what you're saying about the cars being attention seekers. We have a big theft problem over here, particularly with cars like Scooby's. Just yesterday a guy was held at gunpoint locally to me whilst on a test drive with a prospective buyer Probably not that big a deal over there, what with your gun law situation, but over here it made the news and has everyone talking. We get a lot of break-ins for the keys, as the newer cars have security that's too much trouble to by-pass, so it's easier to terrorise a family for a piece of metal Our police are almost useless too, mainly acting as tax collectors for our government these days.

As far as twisty roads go, there are plenty of them in Ca. I live near the Santa Cruz Mtns (hills really) and there are some awesome roads there weaving through the redwood trees.
