MY01 WRX vs 05 STi PPP - Main Differences
Picking it up next Saturday. Had one test drive and I bought it there and then.
Looking for Statto's to point out the main differences - performance, handling, braking etc - oh and this split diff malarkey - what's all that about ?
Bearing in mind I still grin every time I start my WRX what's life gonna be like next weekend ?

Do you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, you'll need it to read the link above as it's a pdf.
If not try here

For interest the complete Prodrive report for the MY05 is identical to the one they issued for the MY02 STi7 with PPP.
They are word perfect, and all the timing figures are the same.
See here http://www.prodrive.com/default2.asp?M=400
The only difference in the spec sheet is that the MY02 doesn't list the uprated fuel pump, which they DID fit, although on the first modified examples the cars were recalled to have the pump fitted.
When I had my PPP kit fitted it came with the uprated pump.
see here http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=180516
The MY05 spec is the same as the MY03, according to the Prodrive web site.
http://www.prodrive.com/uploads/03MY%20STi%20PPP.pdf is for the MY03/04/05
http://www.prodrive.com/uploads/02MY%20STi%20PPP.pdf is for the MY02
According to the published figures they haven't improved the performance at all over 3 years.
Thats not a complaint, as obviously I am perfectly happy with my MY02 STi PPP, just an observation, but it does make it harder to justify the expense of changing.
Cheers
