Opened my front door this morning to find my Scooby doors open. Upon close inspection, it appears somone had tried to nick it. All the lower dash removed, key cylinder on floor, wires cut everywhere. At least the immobiliser worked.

Anyhow, probably joy riders, as I can't see pro's being too interested in an N-reg Imprezza turbo.

But if you live in or around Windsor area, just take a bit of extra care. I regret not having my steering whhel lock on now, as it may have just deterred them that bit more.

The police are taking finger prints, but I doubt anything will happen..

Anyhow, hope my warning may prevent some other poor blighter being faced with paying insurance xs & the problem of having a claim at renewal time.

 

sorry to hear about your bad luck, but glad you've still got most importantly, your health, and secondly, the car!!
