This might not be in the correct section but wasnt too sure where to post.
Has anyone fitted a tow bar to their impreza? Im looking for one to fit a MY2001 bugeye.
Have got a few different prices on the Witter su24r which I beleive can be fitted without cutting bumper. My only concern is the back box, which is the prodrive one fitted when PPP was fitted.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the standard twin pipe box fitted originally compared to prodrive box?
There doesn't look there much room. Has anyone any pics of a tow bar fiitted to a new age??
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks Jonny

I have a Witter towbar on my 02 bugeye with H&S exhaust. The fitter had to be creative using a couple of mounting rubbers to achieve a position where the exhaust did not knock.
Although the bumper isn't cut they do unbolt and replace some mounting points. If you don't ask to keep all the bits then there is no going back! (I didn't realise at the time.)
Also you can choose between a 'normal' towball and a swan neck type when the towbar is concealed if removed. I needed the normal one for my cycle carrier, but you may prefer the swan neck, or you can upgrade later.
