Money no object...
I had a thought today...oh dear i hear you say
If money was no object wht model scooby would you buy and love to own, and SUBARU would make another one for you brand new. So if theres an old model that you liked the looks of e.g WRX STi V3 for instance and you would like to have a brand new one in show room condition would you.
I hope this type of question has not been done before, for my sake.

For me it would probably have to be a 22B, but with the US 2.5 block and JDM heads and twin scroll turbo setup.
Failing that, I'd probably settle for keeping my '05 JDM STI - though the S203 would be mighty tempting too.

And if it's the colour that's bothering you, have an sti type R in Grey.
22B. No contest.

22b with P1 front end as I prefer the facelift classic, a 2.5 400/400 engine and a six speed DCCD for me please in black....

Sorry matey I didn't realise it was 'lets critique people's choices - thought it was a personal selection thread.
(Some thoughts on your comments;

[QUOTE=Fat Boy]Mmmm, perfect - a subaru that has to be trailered everywhere and blows up about every 3 runs down the 1/4 mile....Oh and despite its alleged hundreds of BHP more than anyone elses, it's still only about half a second quicker than Andy F's home made version. [QUOTE]

- You should always trailer a vehicle with race fuel in the tank, the mayhem if that car was in accident would be unbelievable.
- Blowing up every three runs seems a tad pessimistic, however, if you are at the top end of the tuning envelope things will blow but note it is his car that is blowing not his customers
- 1/2 second in what? 1/4 mile times that is day and night

1. 22B has a 22B front end, not the same as any other impreza apart from the wrc car.
2.5 good choice but not the ej257, see my thread above!
six speed with dccd, hmmmmm, dccd yes, but 5 speed please, with those kind of numbers you describe you would be far better off not having to change through the gears all the time.
