Default How long does it take to get to Scoobyclinic?

Just want to know how long it takes to get to Scoobyclinic driving within the limits of the law from Essex. Please anyone who has been there give me a rough idea.
Thanks, Vicki

No,

London to Leeds is 3-4 hours, I have to go south to the 'Clinic and it takes me about 1 hour. I just ran Brentwood to the 'Clinic through a route planner (Route 66) with reasonable preferences on speed (80 m/way, 60 A road etc) and it came back with 2h11m.

THIS may help

Cheers for the advice guys

I've read loads of rave reviews bout Scoobyclinic. Are xtreme scoobies the same kind of establishment that do everything? I thought they were more for engine mods.

Nope, Xtreme are an all singing all dancing Scooby stop! I don't think they do bodywork -at least not on site- like ScoobyClinic do, but pretty much all else AFAIK. I believe they do charge more for labour, but you have to do the maths and work out whether- for the job you want done- the petrol costs negate any savings that might have been had going to Scooby Clinic. I take my car to Xtreme, Knowlsey, Paul and Graham are a great bunch and will look after you and your car well.

I'm tempted to pay ScoobyClinic a visit at one point though....just to see what all the fuss is about!

Regards,

NS04

Have not heard a bad word about them and am quite excited about meeting the guys there especially Noddy aka Adam Saw the pic today ha ha. Looks like a right twit tee hee.

I picked up a scooby from essex and the clinic was my next stop...

It was a saturday about 12:30 pm and I got to the clinic by 3 pm.

That was with no real bad traffic, not realy breaking the limit and no stops, average 80-85 MPH.

Cheers Shimmy.

Hi

Be aware that they are a fair distance away from you, should you need to go back to them for anything to be adjusted or whatever - it's going to cost you in petrol, time and inconvenience.

IMO, you should find someone more local to do the work - there's plenty of choice.

I havent been to Xtreme scoobies yet but have been bombarding knowelsy with all kinds of annoying newbie questions and he has been extremely helpful and very very informative, bearing in mind I am not even an existing customer!!

I will defo be taking my WRX there next week so they can change the timing belt and give it the once over and hopefully will have a glowing report when I get back.

Cheers,

It would seem that fate is working its magic here. I cant go to scoobyclinic cos i would need a courtesy car and they cant provide one at the mo.

Called xtreme earlier for a quote. Just waiting for a call back
