Back box/ panel filter noise?
MY 2001 impreza turbo (classic)
Just looking at replacing back box and panel filter.
What increase in noise would I expect from a Haywardm & Scott 3.5" back box? Looking to increase the burble over standard but not be too loud.
Anyone have any experience of a www.performancesubaru.co.uk back box?
Filter again looking for a slight increase in turbo spin up noise over the standard filter, do green panel filters produce much more noise or shall I stick with standard on this.
Hope you can help as I've had the scoob only 1 month and don't whant to go to far from standard noise levels.
Cheers

the backbox should give you an increased burble, nice and subtle, but definitely noticable.
I replaced my BB with a power enginnering t75, take a look here www.powerengineering.co.uk (i think!) Noise wise, it's very similar to the Magnex system, which is pretty popular for those wishing to increase burble, but not wake the dead.
Easily the best mod ever
