Ordering my 05 WRX SL wagon this tuesday, PPP, front / rear under spoilers plus various other "trimmings". Absolutely split between crystal grey or black!!, seen many pics in black does anyone have any in crystal grey as I feel this WILL be my choice, just need to see some examples!!!!.

Cheers !!

Good choice, we had an SL Wagon last year. At the time you could only get Silver or WR Blue. I at the time would have had a black one if they were available. Having said that I really like the new Crystal Grey, there was a wagon in the showroom when we bought our Legacy - it looked very nice.

In order of preference.....

Not sure if blobs come in white, but this would probably go before CG if it does...

I know it's a new colour this year, but I think CG is actually quite dull. Way too close to ordinary silver, should have been more gunmetal/pewter like the RB5 IMHO. Biggest benefit will be it looking clean the longest.
For me, black, Prodrive springs, 19" OZ 'legs, PPP, Whiteline set-up, driving lights and maybe when it's set up right I might do tints, STi scoop and corner aero splitters with Scott Lowe splitter, rear spoilers and an MRO grille.

I'd buy a black one. We looked at black and CG before buying the Forester. The CG was too close to silver in some lights and just looked like a washed out gold in others.

As someone said above the CG should have been closer to the grey on the RB5. My dealer told me a lot of people feel the same.

We bought black.

Crystal Grey - black is a nightmare to keep clean... But when it's clean, it is stunning
