Hi

I had a new windscreen fitted by Auto Windscreens yesterday afternoon ! Time to get a new one and lose the crack.

Got home to find that a chimp must have fitted it… ! Bulkhead seal’s hanging of, black, water channels on roof bulging out and loose and black glue everywhere. Just to finish things off I received I received a scratch and a dent as well…. …!

Most unhappy!

Phoned the manager of the Chadwell Heath branch first thing and was told they would pick up the bill for repairs!

The Regional Director will be paying me a visit on Saturday morning to asses the damage…..

Surely if they are incapable of doing a job properly, then they should not do it all..!

You have been warned

James

Wink

Make sure that the regional director assesses your car and not your house - you never know they might all be as equally efficient as the chimp (or is that gimp) who installed the screen for you.

I say, that's a bit unfair to Chimps!

Don't they all start as apprentice car mechanics?

Cool

Unfortunately, what normally happens is that you go to a garage and they bring out the top mechanic with yeas of experience who impresseses you with his knowledge, expertise, etc. then when you actually send your car in the spotty teenager actually does the work. Not much we can do about it, apart from keep an eye out for those rare garages which are run by enthusiasts fr enthusiasts (... I'm starting to sound like an advert now so I'll stop).
