I collected MY00 turbo last Friday and will be having the car kit for the mobile fitted on Thursday.

Any suggestions on the best location as the normal position on the left-hand side of the central consul isn’t possible, as the glove compartment is too close?

Suggestions appreciated.

 

What phone is it??

My Nokia kit fits nicely on the left of the stereo...glove box just clears it.

Mob Tel co fitted it so screws are hidden as well...thus no unsightly holes when I come to sell the car...

 

I have my Nokia fitted to a metal bracket that fits down the side of the stereo.

It fits really well and I can open the glovebox without any problem. The bracket is a custom one available for mobile installers, so I would imagine you would be able to get one.

They did a good job I take it?
Are they Leeds based? Or do they come out to your car?
How much did the installation cost?

Check my piccies +_ info on my Nokia car kit, fitted by Voda, came out to the office in Leeds. ZERO screw holes, wired into the stereo so it auto mutes when a call is answered/dialled, and uses the stereo speakers so no cack speaker needed!
