Running in - Which fuel?

![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I'm picking up my new 05 WRX on Saturday (can't wait, but will be sorry to see my MY02 GX go!..).
I'm obviously going to be taking it nice and steady and running it in carefully.
I was wondering which fuel I should be using to run it in - if it makes any difference at all!
Should I be running on Super Unleaded (expensive!!) or will the usual Premium run everything in just as well. (for the first 1000 miles)
I may be splitting at hairs - but I want to make sure that everything is run in as well as possible!
Cheers!...

is it STD UK model or a JDM ?
If a UK then running in gently with 95 ron shouln't be a problem
A UK with PPP you may find your Warranty void if you don't run 97+oct
A JDM sholud really be run on 97Oct running in and higher after, IMHO

It's a STD UK WRX.
When you say "shouldn't be a problem" does that imply that Super would be the best/safest option?

What difference does it make to running in?
As an aside - I didn't know that PPP's must be run on Super.
So this 95/97 ron thing is more than just hype then?!...
Any further info would be great - cheers!

A JDM should be run on minumum or 97+ron fuel and if given a lot of stick + octain Booster.
This is my Humble opinion
