Eh?
The Spec C is a Japanese-spec lightweight model which can be identified by the 'Spec C' badge on the back, lack of soundproofing, aluminium boot lid and massive I/C water spray tank in the boot. Some versions have a little vent in the roof too, and some lack aircon and have manually operated windows.

Easiest givaway for a spec c is the RE070 tyres, there also usually white though you can get them in blue they also dont have electrics and they have a roof vent, plus a dccd for pre 03 and a-dccd for 03 onwards.

Stealth is good; if the spoiler is perfectly functional, who wants to attract even more attention? All the threads on here about "Some chav tore off my spoiler and wrecked my boot lid", show that Evo-style big wings are like a red rag to some morons. And the Sti type UK spoiler is the single ugliest thing ever added to the impreza IMO anyway.

Spec C
The biggest thing you missed about the Spec C is the turbo's different and it certainly gives more BHP and torque. At the southern Subaru dyno test at WRC Tech at Silverstone my standard Spec C, (as in stock exhaust, CAT's, filter etc) produced 306BHP and 330 ft/lb of torque!!! It knocked the spots off all the PPP equiped STI's.
