And a 'dump valve' certainly wont be adding anything to that.....

Seeing as a Version 4 ECU wont actually fit into a V5 I woluld be VERY VERY cautious about the seller.

Ian, you beat me to it!
The v4 was a phase 1 engine, the v5 a phase 2, the ecu on a phase 2 can be remapped though, it will cost around 750 quid but you will have to inform the insurance co about it, it may hit your mate hard in the pocket as you are best doing a few mods at once for a remap for it to be worth while.
Note these type RA's dont have ABS.

you may aswell get a decent quality panel filter due to the fragile MAF's not taking to kindly to induction kits, full decat, wrapped headers and then get a tek 3 remap.

Late year RAs were only available in white; Feather White initially and Pure White for the final two years.

A Type-R will need Optimax or better with a good octane booster too. Id use Nitrous Formula Race (Black) 60ml per tank; way better than anything else and no more expensive. Fit a KnockLink!

You might do well to consider having an A'Pexi PowerFC fitted and mapped by Andy F. too. Itll cost about £750 which is less than some people sel the ECU for alone, and itll run whatever octane of fuel you choose to have it mapped for.
