Default Rust on an 03 WRX???

Yello,

I open my boot today to take something out and cast a glance at the painted guttering by the rubber seal at the bottom of the rear window and noticed some small bubbles of rust coming through.

Has anyone else had a similiar experience?

I'm sure this will be covered by my warranty.....

Cheers

If the car has had its underbody service done then its should be covered. Just spoke to the dealer re underbody service and he stated the very same symtoms of rust under boot and it was all sorted.

under body servie required at 1yr service then 3yr then... another later cant rememer exacte time....

Default Underbody ???

underbody service... whats all that about - a pressure wash by the dealer or something?

never recalled having anything like that done or suggested to me when i've had it in for servicing....

to all those interested, I got my scoob rust fixed today by the dealer. Didn't have to put up a fight, they just did it... even though my body servicing hasn't been done.
