Default 0-60 Speeds For All Scooby's?

OK I have been searching this website and the whole of the net and cannot seem to find a website that lists the 0-60 times of all scooby's?

Does anyone have this info or a link to a website that I can find this out from?

I am ideally after the 0-60 times of all 2000 Turbos, WRX's and STi's from the start right up to present day!

Have you tried the SIDC www.Sidc.co.uk no information on newage though! For that go to Subaru Uk, they should have the figures on there.

Yeah I have tried that thanks. Various websites have various models but I was hoping there was a website somewhere that had them all together.

I guess not

OK - I have a Garmin Quest. I'll find a quiet piece of road and boot it up to 4th gear.

I'll post the timings once I've loaded them onto my PC.

A word to the wise, do not base your purchasing decisions on 0-60 figures, particularly if you're after an older Scooby. There are more salient reasons to buy/not to buy a particular model and more important factors to consider. All Scoobies are fast enough for most, but figures are all redundant if you get an abused one, cause it'll be sitting on the drive broken!

Also the 0-60 isn't particularly real world...you'd not want to acheive the stated figures with your own car as it involves being brutal with it and new clutches for Scoobies cost £££!

Regards,

Had mine for over 50k miles now. Never missed a beat....mildly modded....regularly thrashed. Clutch lasted 40k miles with lots of abuse.

Not hard to get mag test figures either.

But here's the thing, you might be one of the few "da mans" on here that won't be paying between 350-£600 for a new clutch and fitting!

Best,

OK thanks man, I know what you are saying but the 0-60 is definititely a consideration (thus me asking) as most of us, if not all, purchase scoobys for the speed.
I have many more things taken into consideration also, its just I couldnt find any info in this particular subject.

Oh yeah, by all means consider 0-60. Of course you buy a Scooby for the performance, but there are different kinds of performance. It's all very well having a second advantage to 60, but straight line speed is one thing, point to point speed is another. Given the state of some of our A and B roads, suspension set up -for example- is crucial. I've tried to drive an Evo 6 down a local stretch of road at the speed I can acheive in my UK MY99 and I had to back off, I was concerned that I'd be bounced off the road; it just didn't have the compliance to take the rough stuff in its stride. That's not a criticism of the Evo- I wouldn't have seen which way it went on a track, it's just to illustrate that there is more to performance than BHP and 0-60! It's always a question of horses for courses

Why would you want to have it fitted by a dealer...other than if you have more money than sense and enjoy getting $hafted by them.

Fitting around £200 elsewhere.

Un-biased stats (not that stats mean anything).

No moans of heat soak, fuel surge, hand brake stuck on, A/C left on or anything else than scooby people gripe on about.

True, but far more accurate that the so-called stats for cars such as, ooh, WR1's for example.

Comical.

Drive the cars. 0-60 is the most bollockey pointless stat on the planet.

It's only relevant when you're 15 yrs old.
