Default ppp ????

i have a uk my98 2000 turbo and so far ive noticed that it has a prodrive exhaust and suspension, would this point towards it having a PPP ?

i can really find any info on it as prodrive don't list one anymore.

ECU Swap, Fuel Pump upgrade and I think Samcoe hose upgrade.

The old PPP did not have a fuel pump upgrade I don't think (only the New Age STI PPP) and one hose is changed on the PPP's IIRC, not a Samco kit.

Yes
On the case of my ECU there is a Prodrive sticker and a pink STI sticker (MY99) Prodrive sticker may not be there normally.

If memory serves me right,
New Prodrive backbox, with Prodrive engraved on the end.
STi 5/P1 mid section with resonator in place of the std catalyst. (they look similar except the STi 5 one has a bigger diameter built in Cherry Bomb silencer in lieu of smaller diameter std one. The cat is replaced with a perf tube, but I think the oval case it fits in looks the same externally. I had one about 5 years ago but can't remember that well.)
Prodrive branded silicone hose from inlet manifold to intercooler.
Cast alloy 'Y' piece on the underside of the intercooler in lieu of the std plastic one.
STi branded ECU, which is remapped to create the PPP spec.(it should have labeling with STi on it).

Cheers

As already suggested PPP includes different ecu, different centre section and backbox and intercooler pipe had Prodrive scrolled on it.

If your car is fitted with PPP you should have in your manuals a Prodrive certificate as in mine.

Many people do buy the prodrive backbox and stick it on there standard uk.

Unhappy

I bought my wrx 03 ppp at a subaru garage and I have no certification. Just the visual evidence of a prodrive back box and hose in the bonnet. I may have to get onto the garage as on the prodrive website it says you receive a certificate for install....... mmm

The MY98 PPP had
1/ ECU
2/ backbox (Prodrive)
3/ uprated front pads.
big fuss on here about the MY98 not giving enough power. I for one had my money back on this. The MY99 had the hoses and the power increase was much better.
