Why is it that
When ever you go to a car related event like a track day ...............Its always the jap cars which have the bonnets open? The German / French / AN others do their stuff and then sit quietly cooling down. But jap owners have to open the bonnets always makes me chuckle ........
Oh and why is it sooooooooooo quiet on here?
Waiting to be slated as i've wound a few people up on threads today so it seems

I've just thought - maybe it's because number 3 cylinder is made of chocolate and opening the bonnet enables the hinge movement to induce some air movement in the right area??

Either that or its because the German cars for instance are made to do that kind of work and therefore the owners dont need to be constantly checking levels, noises etc.
Or alternatively it could be that MOST scoob owners feel as though they are pretty high up in the car scale whereas actually we own very cheap high performance vehicles. The M3 / porsche brigade know full well their cars are up to the task even when a few years old, whereas as we aren't quite so sure..........

I've been to various track days including your beloved 'ring and never really noticed much of a difference. In fact last time I was in Adenau the only people with the bonnets up were a couple of 911 owners.

I meant:
What do you think, were they looking for a dipstick under the bonnet in a rear engined car?
Rather than calling you a dipstick.
As for insulting you, not as such, just thought that you were talking bollocks on this thread from what I've observed myself 'trackside'
If I wanted to insult you I'd go back to using my "butmann plug" user name

aghhhhhhhhhhhhh so now I know who you are ...... The infamous golf's are better than scoobs man
Now you've put a whole different slant on things. The last time you abused me 10 mins later you were sending me nice little love notes in private bless ya ..... Can't take offence at anything you say now ....
carry on big boy do ya best
Oh and if you dont believe me about the bonnet thing then go to Japfest next weekend or when ever it is and observe for yourself. There will be some syncronised bonnet opening going on for sure.

I don't live in the UK so won't be going to 'japfest' whatever that is. May I suggest that you need to try a attending a better class of trackday?
As for the golf V scoob thing I have no idea what you are talking about. I just thought buttman plug was a funny user name. Suppose you've sussed me on that one.

Simple case of trying to out-chav each other Gutmann. They're not car enthusiasts, they're just using their cars as fashion accesories, preferring to spend their cash on shiny bits rather than REAL performance enhancing modifications.
This does not apply to all of course, most though.

I'm referring to after track, before track, whether or not they even go on track.

why is it that
when watching pornos the jap girls look so exciting wide open.
but the french/german girls look so miserable sat cooling down
stroking their beards after doing their buisness.
it always makes me chuckle and want to see the jap girls again.
