I've just ordered a 05 WRX.

However I previously owned a non-import '97 Prodrive Modified Impreza Turbo, with High-wing, 16'' Prodrive wheels, remus exhaust and some other nice bits on it. Only thing wrong with that old car was the minicab dashboard and the awful non ABS brakes.

It was a great car, but I'd recommend getting one with ABS!

ive had 5 now
my01 wrx wr blue
my02 sti 7 prodrive style wr blue
my03 wrx wr blue
my03 sti ppp wr blue
my03 sti bob special pure white
all have had after market zaust on its a must for the sound and a panel filter of some kind the STI type seems preety good
i would go for a STI over a wrx with ppp its just a better car brakes handling 6 speed box much better stronger than the five speed at least i havent broke my 6 speed
STI better platform to start for seriuos modding
hope that helps paul

Talking

I have WR Blue 05WRX now, and before that i had a left hand MY00 Classic shape Sonic blue. The old one felt alot faster, although it was only 20Bhp more. It also felt more of an exciting ride. However overall i now prefer the new model as it dosent look do dated, even though i origanlly prefered the classic look. Its smother for the family too! Willsy
