Default Atmosphere at Meets

Being a new member and owner, i havent had the chance to attend any of the scooby meets.

I was just wondering what the atmosphere is usually like, and do little clicks develop. Just asking because I will be attending one soon and dont want that ...walking into a regulars pub, when your not a regular..... feeling.

Cheers

Here in Dorset we always try to welcome new faces, but some 'may' find it a bit awkward, depends on the person, and the venue, oh, and the time of year what with darkness n all......

The one I've been to, the regular West Yorkshire Impreza Owners' Club (WYIOC) was very welcoming. It helps if you yourself are friendly and outgoing, mind you. As with all social gatherings there are people you will hit it off with better than others but I've never felt that there are cliques there that wish to keep themselves to themselves.

Get yourself down to one, I found it a positive experience.

Cheers Tiny.

What kind of times do these said meets start and finish as a rule? My job forces me to work 3 weekends out of four with varied shifts..i.e nights/lates/earlies.

Really looking forward to being able to attend, but fitting it in with kids g/f etc is tough going

Cookstar - you'll find it hard to meet a better bunch of people than the Essex Scooby Crew. Their meets are always family friendly and Tiny isn't Tiny.

WYIOC (West Yorkshire Impreza Owners Club) is always happy to take new members/friends/guests mate. Plenty of runs out/meets/socials etc.

Hopefully not too far for you to pop to a meet, but have a look at Northern for regular updates.

We have a run coming up this next Wednesday, plus a meet on the last Thursday, as usual. Full details in Northern. Evereyone welcome!

Hi mate. You've got the Fenland Flat Fours at Peterborough who usually meet on the last Friday of the month. A couple of us have started (approx 1 year ago) a Grantham, Sleaford and Lincs meet which is starting to pick up now. Midlands Scoobies also who have there own website. All the info on the above is on the Midlands part of the events section .

There is a run to Skegness this Sunday if you or anyone else is interested. The more the merrier .

Wolfie.

Hullscoobs meet most thurs nights at the country park inn under the humber bridge

We have a laugh and runs up the coast in the summer and one of the lads does a bit of co piloting at rallies, so we generally shoot off to where ever the rally is

We also had the pleasure of a visit from WYIOC and some of the Grimsby lads last week, hoping to return the favour soon.
