Might be too good for them but they could have one anyway.Have you got a price to replace them yet, because i suppose its only a matter of time.? Or will you leave it with no badges?

Yep, I had my grille badge nicked........custom painted red one that looked like those expensive sti types, also had nearside foglight nicked but luckily they left me all the fixings.

Alan the w.nkers are everywhere, had one of my STI badges (side wing) nicked the other week.
The original cost about £27 each from GGR.
I still havn't got around to removing the sticky stuff left on the wing.
I was going to replace it, getting a copy type from ebay.
But then again they will proberly get nicked again so why bother.

Alan,
My sympathies. This was done to me on new years night and left me feeling well fcuked off. The impreza part of the badge gets left behind because the ******* start off by easing the WRX bit off, not realising that the badge is made up of 2 bits. I guess they bottle it (takes time to get the badges off without breaking them) and leave, hence the impreza bit being left behind.
Getting the gunk and scratches off is extremely time consuming. For the gunk use Halfords tar and bug remover (loads of it) then gently pick away at the mess using a plastic ice scraper. This technique definitely works but needs a steady hand and lots of patience.
Next up, its T-Cut and polish time. Once again its lots of patience and perserverance and they will eventually either polish out or will dull to a reasonably acceptable level. If the scratches are too deep then its off to a stonechip specialist, I'm afraid.
Once done order yourself a set of transfer badges from Scooby something or other (name escapes me but do a Google for it), based in Bedford (someone on here will know the name). They are cheaper and a more effective deterent than the circa £75 it will cost you to get a full set of WRX/Impreza/STi badges off a dealer, which will be nicked again within a day of them being put back on!
I went this route and haven't looked back.
Good luck mate.
WB
PS If you use fancy dust caps, replace them with rubber onces. Yet another cause of interest in your car and a waste of your money replacing the damned things every week
