Question What happened to the thread about Jesus?

Wow - one moment I'm reading it and watching the video - next moment it's gone and not even on the board anymore...

What's happened mods?

We deleted them because they were spam.

Question

Why is it SPAM? - I have replied to threads before on a religious theme and checked the thread and found my comments to be missing. - I assumed I made a mistake in submitting them somewhere, but with this happening all of a sudden whilst I was reading it seems a bit odd.

Question

In light of another 'religious' thread I missed - but getting a round of applause from other BBS members on its own thread - I bring this to your attention again. Why are these sorts of threads defined as SPAM?

Some people are interested in them and if they are not then the thread will die.

Moving a thread to the correct forum is fine - but to remove it completely strikes me as a bit 'odd'

Thanks

Hmmmm.... on a different note, I wonder why there's so few people "viewing" SN these days... Oh, hang on...

Question

Yes you are right - the veiwing numbers have gone down a lot since 'the old days'

I guess the scoob's too common now and not confined to enthusiasts...

Surprised that the thread was removed, and not dropped into Muppets.

TBH, I was totally disinterested in the thread, did not find it remotely funny, but that does not mean it could have stayed in muppets....hey ho

I was thinking that perhaps the overly zealous editing may have contributed to the tumbleweed feeling we got going on...

We have had various "Newbies" post many threads across the whole of the BBS, regarding a specific subject (the same thread). This is classed as SPAM and is removed. I hope this helps to explain the issue.

OllieC,
Not sure how you are arriving at that conclusion tbh. Site stats on new threads, new posts, unique users visits per day/month has increased if anything over the past 2yrs.

Regards,
Shaun.

Really? That's good. Always seems to be a low number in "viewing" these days which could be because I'm popping on at stranger hours than was the case in the past. I just pop in from time to time to reminisce about how good things were in the past... But then I still think chicks wearing Bat-wing jumpers were cool...
