My boss is great, doesn't mind me occasionally surfing as long as I haven't got anything outstanding to do or wasting time/extracting the Michael.
I have access to literally any website and I don't work in IT.

Probably down to what port your tinternet goes through. Here we set up our clients to go through a port which filters out certain sites and looks out for blacklisted words etc...etc...
Not that I'm saying you should be messing about with the setting or anything. So nobody have a go alright

but just for arguments sake, if he was to, how can you get rid of these filters.
I have them in work and they drive me MAD, no games, email, and any other fun website you could imagine. (except this one of course)

Perhaps if you find out what port they go through in your IT dept as I'm sure they would bypass any filters in place.
But then they could be monitoring what ports are being used. Probably not a good idea really as you could get into deep doodoo if they find out that you've been pi$$in' about.
