Hi guys this is my first post,

Im thinking of part ex'ing my 1994 BMW 525i SPORT against a 1993 K Subura Impreza WRX import.

I have knowledge of BMW's but when it comes to Scoobys I have no idea...watsoever.

Can you give me some tips of what to look for please. Also, he claims its over 300bhp.

Welcome to scoobynet. I would be doubtful over the 300 bhp unless he has proof or they are a lot of mods to back up his claim. A lot of people seem to tell fibbs when it comes to actual bhp output

 

standard that car will be 240 ps = about 235 bhp but that is on jap fuel.


300 bhp would require some big mods.

Do you have any pics or more details of his mods?

bigger turbo required to get over 300bhp me thinks.....

 

i have seen many traders saying their scoobs have over 300bhp with only exhaust and filter,
to get 300 on an early classic you need alot more than exhaust and filter.
i currently have a STI v2 VLTD full decat+dawes still cant get 300 on the rollers...
