I picked up MY05 wrx ppp on Saturday and had a great day showing it off to my friends and family. Today however was even better!

I left the house and was driving down the road when another scoob came towards me, flashed twice and waved! I thought that was fantastic, and intend to do the same to others I see!

Has anyone else come across that?

To me that was one of the things about driving a scoob, that made me smile the most.

Happens all the time, just make sure you wave back.

yep had MY99 for one week now and had two people wave on the m5 as i passed them. one an impreza and the other a legacy ...

 

Yet to get one wave since i moved from Brum to Norfolk................

But i sleep better at night

 

that is the single best thing about being a scooby owner! it doesn't matter if your cars a day old or 10 years.......still get a Wave

 

Yep! Got one this morning from a chap in a rather nice classic STI!

 

best bit having a good old wave, the scoobies down here seem to prefer the 'lifted fingers of steering wheel technique' rather then the full-on wave though

 

thats th good thing about the scoob. you dont see any other "car owner clubs" giving it the wave.
