Angry EBAY SCAM - PLEASE READ!!!!!

I thought I was taking all the precautions, but still got buggered - Royally, by a tosser on Ebay. I'm posting this thread to see if anyone else has had the same experience:

Just over 8weeks ago, I won an Apexi Power FC + controller, for the sum of £491, which I thought was a good price. People were buying stuff off this person left, right and centre, and he had no neg feedback, so thought I would be pretty safe. He subsequently phoned me twice to say the parts were on their way, but surprise surprise, still no Power FC at my door. I am gutted beyond belief, but want to try and help other from being frauded by the same A55hole. His user ID at the time was 'officially pimped', later changed to 'op_performance', and now, I believe he's back using another Pseudonym. He's based in the Warrington area.

Everyone beware, and if he's reading this, then: You better move house quickly, cos I will find you!!!

P.S - He sells a lot of Scooby stuff!!!

I recently put a number plate up for auction on ebay and some tosser (Mr Victor Noroi) using my ebay details, sent bidders emails claming he was acting as my agent and that he would sell it to them as a 'Buy Now' offer..!

Several bidders recieved 'official' ebay invoices for the same item, luckly one of them emailed me to confirm this and I let them all know what was happening.

I reported this to ebay (a real pain to do as there system of complaint is cack) as did the bidders involved sending these fake invoices. So far all I've recieved back is an acknowlegement of the complaint and a bill for the commission on the sale..!!

All this came to light as the auction ended and there was a winning bidder who seemed to be uneffected by this fraud. I have informed him of the situation and told ebay that this sale is not going ahead as I feel the auction process has been interferred with. Guess what, I've heard nothing.

I had heard rumours about people having issues with security on ebay but until this I alway thought it to be safe. How wrong you can be..!

Hello mate, sorry to hear you got shafted.. Did you pay via ebay/paypal?? You probably already know this but You can more than likely get re-imbursed if you paid that way.. Make sure you get that sorted, then leave crap feedback. so that we all hope, one day soon, they'll get screwed sideways, with a pineapple

Saw the guys products and thought it looked to good to be true.

You should be able to claim back your money if you paid by paypal or CC.

i've been skanked aswell on ebay for £220 from g-tech performance for a spoiler for my scoob.

Add said it will be delivered within 7 days and i paid for it on the 16th may by paypal.

So after three e-mails and getting fobbed off i've now reported him to ebay and paypal but they can't guarantee me getting my money back.

Has anyone heard of G-tech perfofmance and know there address.

Cheers paul.

P.S. There address P.M. please

Mad Steve: Sorry to hear you have been shafted. If you want what I believe is the guys current address please e-mail me.
Don't expect much help from e-bay. They are not interested but I do understand they removed his account in the name "officially pimped"
How far away from Warrington are you?
You could sort it yourself but if he has taken your money and then disappeared the local CID will want to know.

In the same position as you, sent him a letter threating court action today.

But I have address, mobile number, house phone number if you need them. Also see :- http://www.officiallypimped.co.uk/

Also might have a car reg that he bought off ebay. Check his previous purchases around 26th April.

He now trades as oppjapparts

www.officiallypimped.co.uk Recent work includes a Tommy Hakkinen Special Edition EVO.

I think that has to cause some suspicion from a bloke who deals with performance cars!

The stupid **** has put his mobile number on the site! Also, the perv is asking for people to send him pics of wives or girlfriends draped over their car to have a chance at "winning" his "competition". I hope he gets reported to the Police for trying to scam people on Ebay and/or receives a thorough beating.

Hope you get things sorted,

Graham

Enough complaints to the police with details of the transactions, his correspondance, name and address should interest them. Clearly a blatant criminal.

I did contact http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/onlineservices/mcol/ but because I'm in Scotland it's of little use to me. He's been set a deadline of 13/6/05 to refund me or I'll then take action.

If the others want to email me details I can submit them all at once. I suspect the bigger the case the more interested people will be in taking action.

I got conned to on Ebay bought what I thought was a MOMO Steering wheel, turned out to be a good fake...........I mean a good fake...........packaging and the leather tab was spot on as well...............Im getting concerned about Ebay being a scammers delight seriously, our scoobynet could probably make money, and offer a first class service doing the same style of auction.

Im sorry those whove been conned out of the hard earned cash, its the devils own job trying to get the money back from ebay aswell, i think there is a clause of ten days or something!..dont know the full ins and outs of it though
