No doubt his punishment will be cutting the grass on a local council estate, for the next couple of weeks.

I thought the dads quote "she's had it 2 or 3 years" said it all. Poor kid what hope does she have with a dad like that......

well personally i know the driver of the scoob was an idiot theif who got what was coming but i thought the copper should have called off the chase because he knew that the moron was going to be doing silly speeds so as soon as it got near an urban area he should have put a stop to it !! imho

It's a judgment call....if the scoob was yours and it had been nicked, would you want the guy to stop.....must admit i was surprised there was no helicopter instead, perhaps it was tied up elsewhere

Considering the guy was supposed to be trying to get away from the bizzies the top speed didn't seem to be that high. The scoob driver didn't seem to be really trying unless that was the best he could do. I was also amazed at how serene the copper's phizog looked whilst he was doing the pursuit - unless that is the in-car footage is edited. Also I thought they did say that the scoob was nicked.
P.S. There's no way they'd keep that beemer now is there? You know how sneaky dem fuzz are.

If I've ever had a tug, whether rightly or wrongly, I've always found the yes, no, three bags full approach tends to work wonders, even if it is through gritted teeth. If you're polite and constructive with any valid counter-argument or mitigation you're so much more likely to end up with a "Don't do it again Sir" ticking off and/or producer.

I was surprised that the Scoob driver didn't go ***** out - maybe it was a restricted JDM WRX - just as the narrator was giving it the 'these cars can go 155mph' he seemed to top out at 112mph (ish)?! Mind you, seconds thoughts he probably didn't want an engine failure.
