whats the standard subaru warranty...is it just 12 months...?

 

yes mate,but can be extended for 2 years
bought a p1 last year, 2 year extended was offered for a little bit more.(wished i`d took it )
just had a quote for my p1 today £1142 for another year

I thought all new Subaru's have a 3 year warranty with them. I was never asked if I wanted to upgrade, mind you I never thought to ask. Most cars come with 3 years.
Second hand come with 1 year warranty.

I hope I'm not too, it is 3yrs on a UK car or I have really fvcked up.

Was the P1 not second hand?
If you buy a euro import typically the warranty is 1yr, but usually with an option to increase provided you register it correctly
Not sure about Jap import though

 

yes mate 3 years new,i thought he meant used from a dealer which i had,when the 3 year warranty ran out

 

Euro imports with 3 years pan european warranty too.
