Oh No! Water Leak?
I've just got back from a quick jaunt in my '01 WRX, I took it to 125mph (on a private road obviously ) but when I got home and was waiting for the turbo to cool down, I looked underneath the car and noticed water dripping onto the floor!
There are 3 differnent drips, with one almost 'running'. I put my hand under the drips and the water seems cold considering the outside temp is 25+ degrees C today. I put my finger in the screenwash resevoir to test and that is hot so it isn't that.
This makes me think that maybe it's coming out of the aircon unit? If you look under the car by the front doors, the drips are coming out of a black plastic cover about two feet long that runs alongside the exhaust.
Help! Any ideas?

Maybe condensation from the Aircon mate. Wouldn't of thought it would be coolant as it would be very hot. Just keep an eye on it and later on go for a drive without aircon on and see if it still does it.

I hope so. I did try turning the aircon off to see if it was being caused by pressure but it continued dripping. Seems like a lot of water for condensation though? I reckon it was probably half a pint or so.

Just check it again. It's stopped now but there was still a drip that hadn't 'dripped'. I dabbed it with a white tissue and it's totally clear with no smell. I off for a spin later this afternoon so burn some more super-unleaded so I'll leave the aircon off and see if it happens again.
I too had had the aircon on for a while (20 degrees setting, full power), so hopefully it is just condensation.
Thanks.

Probably your MAF Sensor!!
These have been known to squirt out water when they are failing, no other symptons - just gushes of water!
Get a new MAF and get the whole thing re-mapped by the 'Laptop Geek of the Month'!!
